David Starr - No. 11 PIT Corporate Training Toyota Tundra

David Starr has competed in each of the four previous NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Mansfield Motorsports Park.
Red Horse Racing Continues Partnership: For the second week in a row, the Red Horse Racing team will fly the colors of PIT Corporate Training on their No. 11 Toyota Tundra for the Ohio 250 at Mansfield Motorsports Park. The No. 11 PIT Corporate Training Toyota will once again be adorned in the ever popular new blue and black paint scheme.
Performance Instruction & Training (PIT) corporate training programs provides motorsports experiential team building and Continuous Improvement curriculums. PIT brings its expertise as a pit crew training and placement facility to the corporate arena using a combination of classroom education and hands-on experiential learning addressing such topics as communication, role responsibility, creative thinking, and work performance through the easy to understand examples provided by the pit stop experience.

Starr on Racing at Mansfield: "Mansfield is really cool. You would think that the Cup Series and its stars were rolling into town the way the city and people roll out the red carpet treatment for our series. It is well appreciated by the drivers and shows the passion the people of Ohio have for NASCAR racing.
"The track itself is fun to race on and provides great short track action for the fans - this is one of my favorite races on our schedule.
Starr on Annual Trip to Indy 500: "I have formed a very special friendship with AJ Foyt and in 2006 I started going over to Indianapolis for the 500 the day after Mansfield. It was just natural and it allows us to spend some good time together - which with our schedules these days that is hard to find. Also, it allows me to see up close another form of racing such as open wheel. In all it is just a really neat trip for me to take and we started this tradition a few years back and we just continue with it".
Starr Goes to Mansfield a Week Early: David Starr left Lowe's Motor Speedway last Friday night and headed north to Mansfield a little earlier than the rest of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He did so to take part in The Rehab Center Wing & Chili Cook-Off at the Mansfield track on Saturday. He served as a Guest Judge for the event and made a donation on his behalf to The Rehab Center. After the cook-off, he spent time with a group of approximately 200 kids with a question and answer session.
Red Horse Racing Success at Ohio Short Track: Red Horse Racing crew chief Jamie Jones has developed a reputation as a short track master and that is very evident by the team's success at the Mansfield track. Last year the Red Horse Racing Toyota was running in the second spot and shooting for the win when their machine mysteriously ran out of fuel with two laps remaining. In 2006, the team finished a strong third with current driver David Starr behind the wheel. And in 2005, Brandon Whitt was wheeling the Red Horse machine in the second position trailing eventual winner Bobby Hamilton when he cut down a tire on debris with 25 laps remaining.
As has been obvious the past three seasons at the Ohio short track, the Jamie Jones led Red Horse Racing team has their short track magic working at Mansfield and they look to add to that impressive record again this weekend.
David's Mansfield Stats: In four previous races, David has three top ten finishes with a best of third back in the 2006 event while driving the Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra. He also has three top ten starts with a career best of seventh which he achieved twice - 2005 and 2006. His average start is 11.8 and his average finish is 10.0. He has led one lap at the track and has completed 100% of the laps (1006) in the four previous events.
